Five Minute Walk

Picture
For this project, we had to find an interesting location and take a 5-minute walk, capturing all of the pictures we thought were interesting. Then, using Photoshop, we created layers for each picture and made a "collage" type of picture. The background was created using a small portion of one of the pictures taken, multiplied, and blurred.

Panograph

Have you ever been somewhere and you wished that you could zoom out more or fit more of the location in the picture? You can! For this project, we took 10-12 pictures and created a new layer for each one. We fit the pieces like a puzzle and using the combined pictures, made a picture that captures the location you are at in one picture.

Picture
Have you ever looked at a printed picture and compared it with the location it was taken in today? For this project, we found the location of our chosen printed picture and placed it against real life, comparing the time or weather change. As time changes, people grow up and the seasons change, and this is the way to compare the contrast of the printed picture and real life.

Picture in a Picture (Pt. 2)

For this project, we took two pictures, an original picture and one with a person holding a picture frame in the exact same location. I photoshopped the portion of the original picture and placed it in the picture frame, so the I looked like I had a hollowed out stomach, the stop sign pole. As you can see above, it looks like the picture frame can hollow out my stomach and show the background I am standing against.
